#265: The Newseum. I like the building more than the museum itself, but it’s still a good place to visit. I don’t love that you have to pay admission (unlike most of the other museums) but it’s worth paying to see it once. A nice kinda contribution from USA Today to the district (the Newseum started in the USA Today complex in NoVa and is presided by a guy who used to be president of USA Today.)
Since posting this I have learned that if you are a planning to visit the Newseum as with students from a DC-based school or university, your tickets are free (The Washington Post pays for them).
Tickets for the Newseum are good for two days. I have never actually used my ticket to visit the Newseum two days in a row, but you are welcome to if you want.
